Our oversized Bar Stool is beautiful and handmade in the USA from 100% responsibly sourced woods (no fillers or composites). Its design is solid with sturdy construction throughout. We offer three optional seat heights measuring 28", 39" or 32" tall making our stool perfect for placing under your favorite table or at a bar. Each seat surface is unique and made from beautiful crosscut timber. *The live edge is the tree's natural bark and, left untreated, adds unique character to the stools overall appearance. The sturdy base legs are left unfinished and the seat treated with an oil rub to reveal the tree's beautiful growth rings. (*Please note that the process of milling and preparing the seats for these stools can cause the bark to separate from the trunk core and cause variations in adhesion and appearance.) Our stools are dense and durable, resistant to weather, decay, and pests. We do offer variations in our finishes. The legs can be stained or painted to match your color preferences and such variations can be selected during your purchase process. Rest assured these pieces are beautifly handcrafted, sturdy and made for whatever life throws its way! -Ships assembled if under 30" tall. Bar stools over 30" tall will need to have seats attatched after delivery. -Local delivery available throughout Southern California at an additional .50 cents/mile -Assembled pickup is available at no additional cost The featured stools are two examples of finish work. One has unfinished legs (but stained supports) which allows the true wood grain to show through. The other is stained using True Black. Both designs feature copper metal footrests. The seat surfaces are finely sanded smooth, hand-rubbed with natural polish and wax to bring out the appearance of the wood's growth rings. Every surfaces is professionally finished, sanded, and assembled by a craftsman with an eye for attention to detail. Our customers do have the option to request stained leg finishes to be completed in our shop. Those options are made available during your purchase process and include Chestnut, Oak, Ebony, Ipswitch and Walnut stains.
