When paired with the accompanying condenser (sold separately) this ductless system requires no destruction of walls or ceilings like traditional HVAC systems so you benefit from less of a mess and reduced installation costs. The included installation kit comes with pre-charged refrigerant lines that do not require special tools or training for a truly DIY installation experience. The ceiling recessed air handler mounts directly into a finished ceiling so it does not have to take up a window. It features a quiet mode, fan only option, and auto cool mode for energy efficiency. With 18,000 BTU of cooling and heating power, this unit is capable of heating/cooling an area up to 750 sq. ft. The onboard filter is completely removable and washable so you can ensure the incoming air is as clean as possible with periodic cleanings. An installation kit is included.
