From mid-summer to late fall every stem is covered in a profusion of deep-blue flowers that attract butterflies. The foliage has a scent of eucalyptus. This beautiful bush is perfect for the front of sunny shrub beds, or out in dry and rocky parts of the garden. Although it is often killed to the ground in zones 5 and 6, this doesnt matter, as it quickly re-sprouts and blooms profusely. - Rich deep-blue flowers from mid-summer through fall - Silvery green foliage is striking earlier in the season - Great mounding plant for the front of your beds - Drought tolerant and thrives in heat - A magnet for butterflies The Dark Knight Caryopteris should be planted in full sun with good drainage.
