Right after presenting their first collection in 1985, the young Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana signed a contract with Domenico's father, Saverio Dolce, to manufacture their first samples and small collections in his own atelier. And this wonderful brown lace dress dates back to that period, as the label reports Dolce Saverio Spa as the manufacturer. The dress, which comes in surprisingly excellent conditions, features a floral pattern, a beige crepe decorated lining and a rear closur with hook and zip. It's a unique collectors piece and a rare trove. About the brand - Dolce&Gabbana was created in the early 1980s by Italians, Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana, they had their first show in Milan in 1985. Known for their sexy women's wear, Dolce & Gabbana introduced a racy collection with lingerie on the outside of clothing in the 1990s.
