Its design combines a 9" disc and a 6" x 48" belt for workshop versatility and it's powered by a 3/4 HP motor to take on the toughest sanding tasks.The 2 precision-ground cast iron tables have positive stops at 90A° and 45A° for sanding flat pieces or mitered angles allowing the belt sander to be used vertically horizontally or anywhere in between. Its exclusive dual thumbscrew belt tracking adjustment locks to keep the belt on track as you work plus the graphite covered steel platen runs cooler increasing machine and belt life.The specially designed belt guard allows for full use of the 6" belt resulting in less slippage while the quick-lock dust cover enables you to make fast disc changes. Plus it has built-in handles for easier portability and a steel closed stand that provides additional support and storage for abrasives.
