A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 4:48 a.m. for a snow squall until 5:30 a.m. for Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Burlington and Ocean counties.
Florida, North and South Carolina, Alaska, and Montana have been hit with snow, “dangerously cold” wind chills and freeze alerts.
On Thursday at 1:48 p.m. EST a winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Friday between 4 a.m. EST and 10 a.m. EST for Marquette County.
Around 33 million people are under winter alerts Saturday as Floridians brace for bitter cold and snow takes aim at the southern Appalachians and the Southeast
