The U.S. Senate approved a stopgap spending bill Monday that will end the longest government shutdown in American history once the measure becomes law later this week.

House lawmakers will make a long-awaited return to the nation's capital on Wednesday after nearly eight weeks away to potentially put an end to the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history.

“The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again because they’ll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they’ve done on the Shutdown, and so many other subjects,” he wrote.
