CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela has arrested a fourth American citizen since the start of this month, the country's Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said on Tuesday, without naming the person detained.

Venezuelan authorities say they have arrested three US citizens, two Spaniards and one Czech citizen suspected of plotting to destabilise the country.Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said hundreds of weapons had also been seized.

Five Americans have been arrested in a sweep launched by Venezuela’s socialist regime to dismantle what the government claims is mercenary force assembled by the CIA and Spain’s intelligence service to topple strongman Nicolás Maduro.
