When pressed on what that concession was, Trump replied, “stopping taking the whole country.”

Donald Trump is due to speak on the phone to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Tuesday to discuss a US-proposed Ukraine ceasefire deal. The peace proposal on the table was discussed by Ukrainian and American delegates in Saudi Arabia last week.
