The cyclone is centered about 190 miles south of Zihuatanejo in Mexico’s Guerrero state, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said.

A new tropical storm in the East Pacific will take a swipe at southern Mexico, but the Atlantic Ocean remains quiet for now. AccuWeather hurricane experts expect that to change by the end of the month.
