Severe weather outbreak, mid-March (recap)A multiday severe weather outbreak has wrapped up as of March 12. March 10 saw deadly and destructive tornadoes, very large hail and gusty winds across the Central US and Midwest. March 11 was more of a wind event but a few tornadoes hit the South and Ohio Valley.
The outbreak killed two in Lake Village, Indiana, and produced hail in Illinois that is being investigated as a possible new state record.
"All severe hazards are possible, including the risk for a few strong to intense tornadoes and very large hail," the Storm Prediction Center said.
A multiday severe weather outbreak is forecast to continue Friday from the Plains to the Midwest. Strong tornadoes, very large hail and destructive winds are all possible. Places like Dallas,
