Russia has launched the most intense missile and drone strikes on key Ukrainian infrastructure targets over the weekend that is growing in ferocity, focusing on the dwindling air defences installations,

The overnight barrage by Russia targeted numerous civilian infrastructure points, including residential areas, energy facilities, and transportation hubs.

Russian forces carried out a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine, using 539 drones and 11 missiles, according to Ukraine’s Air Force Command. The military said 478 aerial targets were either successfully intercepted or “lost from radar tracking or suppressed by electronic warfare systems.
