Russia launched its largest drone and missile bombardment of Ukraine overnight into Wednesday, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The overnight barrage by Russia targeted numerous civilian infrastructure points, including residential areas, energy facilities, and transportation hubs.

Ukrainian officials reported Russian attacks on critical infrastructure in the west of Ukraine, bordering Poland.

A Ukrainian F-16 pilot was killed intercepting Russian aerial attacks overnight, Kyiv's air force said, in what a Ukrainian official described as the largest-scale air attacks on his country since the start of the war.
