After years of mostly sitting on the sidelines, two streaming companies that have long been reluctant to bundle their wares with competitor services seem a bit more open to the idea. On Monday, the telecom giant Verizon announced a $10 per month deal that includes the ad tiers of both Netflix and Max.

Verizon myPlan customers will soon be able to get a 40% discount to the streaming services Netflix and Max through the carrier’s new bundle offering.

The streaming war has led to subscription confusion for consumers, and now Verizon is the latest company to turn back to bundles as a way to solve that issue while luring people to switch to its latest unlimited plans.

Verizon is making its latest aggressive push to bundle up streaming packages - offering ad-supported versions of Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery's Max for $10 per month to wireless subscribers on unlimited plans.

Verizon confirmed Monday it’s offering a previously rumored bundle of Netflix and Max streaming subscriptions. The pairing of the rival services is the first of its kind, giving the wireless carrier’s myPlan subscribers a 41 percent discount over buying the two ad-supported plans individually.

Verizon Communications said on Monday it would offer streaming subscriptions to Netflix and Warner Bros Discovery-owned Max platforms as a bundle to its customers. Verizon "myPlan" subscribers can opt for the ad-supported plans for Netflix and Max for a combined $10 a month starting Thursday.

Verizon offers several perks with its myPlan offerings. Instead of giving you these perks for free, the carrier allows you to pay $10 for any perk of your choice. Some other popul
