Disgraced South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh has been sentenced for stealing $12 million from his clients and family law firm, in addition to the life sentence he is serving for the murders of his wife and son.

Murdaugh is to be sentenced on almost two dozen counts of financial crimes, including money laundering, fraud and breach of trust, for schemes against his clients.
