Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James returned to his former stomping ground on Wednesday. He led the Lakers against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he started his career some 23 years ago.
“ Lakers forward LeBron James has been selected as a reserve for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, set for Sunday, Feb. 15, in Los Angeles,” the Lakers said in a press release. “The honor extends James' NBA record of 22 consecutive All-Star selections, spanning three decades (2005-26).”
The Los Angeles Lakers forward made the 2026 NBA All-Star game as a reserve, marking his 22nd-consecutive All-Star appearance. Since entering the league in 2003, James has never missed an All-Star game, making the game as a starter in each of his first 20 seasons.
