Nine Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli air strike on a police station in northern Gaza, health officials and first responders say.Several other people were also wounded when missiles hit the market area of Jabalia town.

At least 27 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in the latest Israeli airstrikes across Gaza on Saturday, sources and officials said. In one of the attacks, an Israeli airstrike targeted a cafe in the city of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, killing four Palestinians, a medical source told Anadolu.

Israel was keeping up its intense bombing campaign in the enclave, which has exacted a heavy price on civilians struggling to find safe places to shelter.
