As an Israeli offensive against Palestinian militant groups stretched to a 10th day, residents said many people were trapped in their homes out of fear.

Five Palestinian men have been killed in an Israeli air strike on a car in the north of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry says. Two others were injured when a car in Tubas was hit by missiles in the early hours of Thursday.

Palestinian journalists say that they were fired on by the Israeli military during a raid in the occupied West Bank town of Kafr Dan.
