TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says there is “no way” Israel will halt its war in Gaza, even if a deal is reached to release more hostages.
The Israel Defense Forces, announcing the Tuesday Gaza attack, claimed a Hamas command and control center was located beneath the hospital. Israeli media, citing military sources, reported the strike targeted Mohammed Sinwar, brother of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed last October.
The strike hit an underground site in Khan Younis, according to Israel’s military, and an official said it could take days for Israel to determine whether the strike was successful.
Gaza rescuers said at least 29 people were killed in Israeli strikes on Wednesday as negotiations took place in Qatar for the release of hostages still held in the war-battered territory."At least 25 martyrs were killed and dozens wounded" in Jabalia,
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday warned that Israel would use its "full force" to "complete" the fight against Hamas in Gaza.
