The New Orleans Saints quarterback cleared the concussion protocol on Friday, according to Luke Johnson of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, but was marked as questionable on the injury report with a concussion, right shoulder and rib injury. He also told Johnson he's not occurred about sustaining two concussions in three weeks.

Let’s start with the good news: the New Orleans Saints ruled out just two players for Week 14’s home game with the Carolina Panthers due to injury, and they’re both rookies who haven’t seen the field much this year — defensive end Isaiah Foskey (quadricep) and running back Kendre Miller (ankle).

Carr, who left New Orleans' 33-28 loss to Detroit last week with a concussion as well as shoulder and rib injuries, was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.

Per multiple reports, Carr will play for the Saints in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers after clearing concussion protocol. Carr is dealing with multiple injuries besides the concussion, also battling rib and right shoulder injuries suffered earlier this year. He's left three games this season due to injury.

Carr left Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions and the Saints' Week 10 game against the Minnesota Vikings to go into the concussion protocol but sustained other injuries in both of those games as well.

The Saints listed the QB as questionable, but he since has received clearance from an independent neurologist.
