A Sand Springs Public Schools bus driver was injured when the bus ran off Old Towne Road and struck a tree last Monday afternoon, the school district says. An email from the district to parents last Wednesday afternoon states that a “school bus on a secondary route was involved in a collision” and that the driver “was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is currently resting at home.
