Big Lots is closing even more stores in Indiana as part of its bankruptcy. In addition to several stores previously reported as closing in the state, locations in Lafayette, Muncie and South Bend will close.

Things have gotten worse for the discount retailer Big Lots. The national chain was previously set to close approximately 300 stores, then they decided to close 40 more, but following a new filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission on Friday,

Last month in bankruptcy filings, Big Lots said it would close almost 50 more stores, bringing its total planned store closures to more than 340.
