DreamWorks' The Wild Robot has taken the domestic box office crown from Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to close out the month of September.

Josh Cooley's Transformers One put up a good fight, and audiences received new spooky season offerings with Coralie Fargeat's The Substance and Alexandre Aja's Never Let Go, but early returns show that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has won the weekend box office for a third week in a row.
