The number of tents and structures occupied by homeless people on San Francisco streets has hit a five-year low, according to an announcement from Mayor London Breed’s office. In a Monday news release,

Mayor Breed says the latest tally in April counted 360 tents and structures throughout the city - down from 609 tents counted July of 2023. She says it's a five-year low.
