Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers opened up the team’s rookie minicamp on Friday. The two-day camp will help prepare the rookies and other young players on the roster for the rest of the offseason workout program. The roster for the camp is 50 players: 11 draft picks, eight undrafted free agents, 18 tryout players and 13 returning players.

The Packers drafted three offensive linemen last week but are short on experienced depth beyond guard Royce Newman and tackle Andre Dillard. Newman has struggled in his three seasons with the Packers and Dillard, a first-round pick by the Eagles, was released by the Titans after one rocky season in Tennessee.
